12/05/2013: Mo Kadbi successfully defended his doctoral dissertation entitled 4D Ultra-Short TE (UTE) Phase-Contrast MRI for Assessing Stenotic Flow and Hemodynamics . We all wish Mo the very best in his position at MR Theraphy group of Philips Medical Systems in Cleveland, OH.

4/16/2013: Vahid Tavakoli successfully defended his doctoral thesis entitled Quantitative Analysis of Regional Cardiac Function with Ultrasound Echocardiography: Novel Speckle Tracking Algorithms. We all wish Vahid the very

1/1/2013: The IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society has appointed Dr. Amini as a Distinguished Lecturer. The appointment as an EMBS Distinguished Lecturer is a major Society award, which recognizes outstanding contributions in both research and education to the EMBS fields of interest. Dr. Amini's appointment starts on January 1, 2013 and ends on December 31, 2014.
12/13/2012: Mohammadreza Negahdar and Hui Wang were back in Louisville for a short trip to attend the University of Louisville's hooding ceremony for doctoral degree recipients.






11/28/2012: Hui Wang successfully defended his doctoral thesis entitled “MR Imaging of Left-Ventricular Function: Novel Image Acquisition and Analysis Techniques”. We all wish Hui the very
best in his new position at Philips Medical Systems in Cleveland, OH as an MRI Scientist.
